STEP ONE | Connect with a Real Estate Agent
It's smart to have someone help you navigate the process. The real estate market is constantly changing, so having a professional advocating for and advising you is invaluable.
STEP TWO | Get Pre-approved
Before beginning your search, your first step is to get pre-approved for a mortgage loan (unless you'll be paying cash). Based on your income and credit history, the lender will determine how much you can borrow. This will help determine the price range for your search.
STEP THREE | Start Your Search
You've finally got the green light to look for a home! I will guide and instruct you during viewings, answering your questions to best educate you on your options.
STEP FOUR | Make an Offer
Once you have seen a home you like, you submit an offer, which outlines the price, terms and timing of the purchase. I'll provide advice on pricing, and guide you through the process.
STEP FIVE | Inspections
It's important to know as much as you can about the home you're buying.
STEP SIX | Appraisal
The lender will organize the appraisal - they verify that the home you are buying is worth what you're offering to pay for it, and finalize the paperwork so your loan is "cleared to close".
STEP SEVEN | Sign Closing Documents
The chosen Title company will gather the documents needed to execute the purchase agreement, including your loan documents and deed transfer. They will send the documents to the county to record the transfer.
STEP EIGHT | Closing
Once Title reports back that title has recorded, you are officially a home owner!
